The German Jazz band will be arriving for home stays with the CHS families on Thursday, May 14th, They will be with us Thursday night ~ Sunday morning. (Itinerary is below)
CHS has been asked to house the 28 students between the ages of 15 and 21 for 3 nights during their stay in Corvallis. All CHS band member families are invited to host two German students. The CHS students have had an opportunity to see pictures of each German musician and read their ‘bio’s’ written in English. Housing assignments will be concluded this week and the CHS students may contact by email the Germans before they depart for the US.
On the day they arrive ( time ...?), the CHS Wind Ensemble will perform at OSU at the OSAA State Band Championships !!

May 14 Germans arrive at CHS greeted by CHS students/families/housing assignments
May 15 7:30a Germans to CHS. MPG concert in West Albany HS and at Cascade HS.
Shopping at Woodburn.
5:30 back to Corvallis.
May 16 Breakfast with host family.
10:00a Drop off at Farmers Market
12:00p Lunch Downtown
1:30 Hike MacDonald forrest
Dinner with Host Family
May 17th Breakfast with Host family.
11:00 Drop off at OSU LaSelle (last CHS host activity )
3:00~5:00 CHS, OSU, MPG Jazz Bands concert
May 19 MPG shadow CHS band students at CHS, meet other Germans.
Mr. Price will meet with the OSU profs this week to finalize the event.
