Alumni Pep Game

The annual Alumni Pep Band game has been

scheduled for Tuesday, January 4, 2011.

Rehearsal will begin at 5pm,

followed by pizza and the game!

Please get the word out to all our grads!!!!

Linus Pauling Winter Concert December 14th!

Tuesday evening, December 14th is a unique opportunity

to catch a preview into the future!

Linus Pauling 7th and 8th grade bands

will perform at 7pm! Join in the holiday fun!

CHS Spring Wind Ensemble Trip

The CHS Wind Ensemble is planning their spring band tour to the San Francisco area. The trip is scheduled for:

April 14 - 17, 2011.

Carole Petersen along with Heritage tours 

has put together another great trip.

 Just a reminder that commitment letters are now due.

runs November 4-7 and November 12-14.

Come and enjoy!

Saturday performances offer two shows to

accommodate your schedule:  2pm and 7pm.

All other performances will be at 7pm.

have put much effort into learning the accompanying

musical score of this timeless production.

BAND SCHEDULE FOR THE EVENING AS FOLLOWS:

Band members arrive:  5:15PM

Rehearsal on field:  5:30-6PM

Parent volunteers meet to prepare to pass out uniforms:  5:30PM

Students pick up/change into uniforms:  6:00-6:30pm

Senior parents to football field/line up in alphabetical order:  6:30pm 

Senior band members/football players family introductions:  6:50 pm 


FOOTBALL GAME BEGINS:  7:00PM

 POST GAME PARENT VOLUNEERS WILL HELP WITH THE UNIFORMS. Students are to take pants (on a plastic hanger), hats and gloves home with them. UNIFORM JACKETS to remain at school.

 BAND WILL PRACTICE ON THE CHS BASEBALL FIELD AT 6PM SHARP, PLEASE ARRIVE A FEW MINUTES PRIOR.

MARCHING BAND WILL PRESENT

"BAD ROMANCE" and "DOWN"

at half-time.
